For many athletes, Special Olympics is the only place they will experience the thrill of victory. The chance to be part of a community. The opportunity to live a healthier, more productive life.
In Virginia, we can't deliver on those dreams without enormous community support of the Polar Plunge® Fest, Feb. 18 in the New River Valley. To date, we're one third of the way to matching last year’s $64,340 record, which supports more than 27,000 athletes and volunteers in Virginia. And for every one athlete we serve, 11 more are waiting to get in the game.
We need your help. Please help us spread the word. To register, donate or find out more details about Polar Plunge, visit www.polarplunge.com/new-river or call our Blacksburg office, 540.951.2918.
Together we can create more champions.
