Your Guide to Getting Involved at Summer Games

1. Join us for our 2nd annual SOLAR PLUNGE! This year, you can cheer on athletes as they compete for GOLD and then join them as you go for COLD during Closing Ceremony celebrations at the University of Richmond’s Robins Center! It's $100 to Plunge, and it all goes to the coolest cause around. Start a team today at polarplunge.com/richmond!

2. Join 100+ law enforcement officers as an honorary guardian of the flame. You’ll get a chance to RUN with the Flame of Hope into University of Richmond’s Robins Center as we light the Olympic Cauldron. Find out more and register today at specialolympicsva.org/makeasplash.

3. Volunteer to Cheer for 1500+ athletes at our Opening Ceremony at the Robins Center and featuring American Idol finalist and Midlothian native Shayy. Fans also are welcome to cheer during Saturday’s track & field competitions at St. Christopher’s School (note the updated 2019 location for Saturday’s activities; the University of Richmond football field is under construction).
