“We are here to lead a revolution. But it is not a violent revolution or an angry revolution or a vengeful revolution. We are here to lead the inclusion revolution, a revolution of the heart.” – Tim Shriver, Special Olympics Chairman
But a more inclusive community is one built by ALL of us. And we need you. Will you join us at the Xperience Tennis Invitational and take the first step to building a world rich in love, not fear? Whether you’re an Xperience veteran or a first-time fan, the event offers a multitude of opportunities for you to make a difference.
The Xperience brings together the top Special Olympics tennis athletes from around the country, including two of Virginia’s own, Jon Fried and Chris Raupp of Charlottesville, for three days of round-robin tournament play, a UVA tennis clinic and community doubles play, all at a first class venue, Boar’s Head Sports Club.
Join us for the Opening Ceremony, which starts at 7 pm Thursday, Jan. 9; tournament play is from 8 am to 8 pm Friday, Jan. 10; and the final matches run from 8 am to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, with the Awards Ceremony starting at 4:30 pm Saturday. Fans are welcome throughout the tournament; for the full event schedule, click here.
