After a two year break we are excited to welcome back fans and friends of Special Olympics Virginia to the Dulles Day Festival this year. See what we have planned on our event map!

Is the Dulles Day Festival Open to the Public?
Yes! All are welcome to attend the Dulles Day Festival and Plane Pull?
What is the Cost to Attend?
Attending the festival is FREE but we encourage you to participate in activities on site that will allow you to donate to Special Olympics Virginia.
What Time is the Dulles Day Festival?
Gates open at 10:30 am, gates close to new attendees at 3:30 pm and all must leave at 4:00 pm
Where on the Airport is Dulles Day?
The event continues to be in the cargo area of Dulles Airport.
Where Do I Park?
Event attendees and teams should plan on driving to the airport and following the signs for "Event Parking" which will take them to a FREE long term parking lot. They will then be shuttled a short distance in ADA compliant shuttles buses to the event gate.
Will There Be Security?
Yes! Please be prepared to go through security. There will be a stadium bag policy so, for this reason please only bring a 5x7 bag or clear bag. If you need a larger for medical or child care purposes please know it will be searched.
Can I Bring Outside Food?
No. Outside food or drinks (including water bottles) are not allowed. However, come hungry as there will be many food vendors on site selling delicious treats!
Can I Bring My Pet?
Service animals are of course allowed at Dulles Day, however, any others are not permitted.
Is the Event Rain or Shine?
Yes!
What is There To Do at Dulles Day?
Plan to spend your day at the event as there is so much to do! You can view the almost 100 teams participating in the Plane Pull competition, participate in a Truck Pull activity for children powered by 123Junk, visit community exhibitors, take a fire truck rides, check out the classic car show and aircraft displays, take a cool ride on a mobile lounge, have fun in the Patient First Kid's Area and much more!
Registration for the Truck Pull is open! Beat the line on event day by registering in advance and guarantee your child a shirt.

The Dulles Day Festival supports Special Olympics Virginia.
How Can I Support Special Olympics Virginia?
While onsite at the Dulles Day Festival, you can buy food from the Special Olympics Virginia tent, donate to ride the fire truck or mobile lounge, have your child participate in the Truck Pull powererd by 123Junk, or drop some cash in one of our donation buckets.
