Procter and Gamble is Supporting Special Olympics Virginia this January

Supporting Special Olympics Virginia is as easy as shopping Procter & Gamble this January!

Supporting Special Olympics Virginia is as easy as shopping Procter & Gamble this January! For 42 years, Procter & Gamble and their brands have joined forces with Special Olympics to build more inclusive communities.

This January, shop for participating Procter & Gamble products like Tide, Charmin and Pampers at two Virginia commissaries – Fort Belvoir in Fairfax and Fort Lee in Petersburg – to show your support for Special Olympics. In turn, Procter & Gamble will make a generous donation of $18,000 to the program and its more than 22,000 athletes across Virginia.

"As we return our Special Olympics athletes to a safe and healthy playing field, we are proud to do so with Procter & Gamble on our team,” said Rick Jeffrey, President of Special Olympics Virginia. “For more than 42 years, Procter & Gamble has helped Special Olympics Virginia and our athletes lead the charge toward an inclusive world for all, created by the power of sport. Procter & Gamble creates ‘products that make life easier.’ Thank you Procter and Gamble for helping to make the lives of our Special Olympics athletes easier (and better), too!”

Since 1980, Procter & Gamble has donated more than $40 million to Special Olympics programs across the country.
