Thanks to the incredible support of the community, a total of $15,700 was raised!

We are thrilled to announce another the success of the "Tip-A-Cop" campaign held at Texas Roadhouse locations across Virginia. Thanks to the incredible support of the community, a total of $15,700 was raised!

"Texas Roadhouse loves our community and what better way to be a part of that than to partner with our local law enforcement to raise money for Special Olympics Virginia," stated Kristie Lancto, local store marketer for Texas Roadhouse.

The event featured 16 events at 11 locations, with participation from 19 law enforcement agencies and local athletes, who engaged with guests and collected donations for Special Olympics Virginia.

Lt. Adam Bernstein expressed his gratitude, stating, "The Law Enforcement Torch Run is very appreciative of the relationship we have with Texas Roadhouse and their continued support of LETR and Special Olympics. Tip-A-Cop events are not only a successful fundraiser but also a platform for police officers to engage the community in a non-enforcement capacity to show our citizens the fun side of policing. Officers were able to chat with citizens, sing happy birthday, and even ride in the saddle, having fun while raising money and awareness for Special Olympics."
