Our Young Professionals Board (YPB) is a coalition of enthusiastic young professionals (under 40) in Richmond, Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads who seek to inspire radical inclusion through fundraising, advocacy, and volunteer involvement. The YPB is tasked with raising the visibility of the organization and building new programs through fundraising.
Objectives

Fundraise

Support Special Olympics Virginia's fundraising efforts through annual giving, participating in signature fundraising events and developing new programs

Advocate

Promote the Special Olympics movement and educate young professionals in their region to increase involvement with the organization

Network

Build a network of like-minded young professionals in Virginia through social, fundraising, and volunteer opportunities
