Thanks to a generous grant from the U.S. Office of Special Education Programs at the U.S. Department of Education, Special Olympics Virginia provides start-up funds for new Unified Champion Schools. Schools are reimbursed up to $1,500 to launch their first Unified Sport and up to $1,000 when starting a second sport.
