Kenneth Moulder

Retired - Riverside Regional Jail

Ken has been involved with Special Olympics and the Law Enforcement Torch Run on the local, state, regional and international level for well over 20 years. He has been both departmental liaison and region coordinator for the Torch Run for many years, and has assisted volunteers and athletes alike every step of the way.

He has volunteered at dozens and dozens of events, including Tip-a-Cops, Wawa with the Law, Polar Plunges, Torch Runs, Harley Davidson motorcycle raffles, Summer Games, and Winter Games… just to name a few! Over the past two decades, Ken has attended several state, regional and international conferences, bringing much needed ideas and information back and sharing with the region, so that awareness and fundraising for Special Olympics will not only continue, but improve from year to year.

The passion, love, and dedication for spreading the word about Special Olympics is plainly evident, as he loves interacting with the athletes and others from different parts of the region and state. Although now retired, he continues to participate with his region in all of their events, assisting anywhere he is needed, and has served on the Law Enforcement Torch Run Executive Council for well over a decade.

Congratulations, Mr. Moulder!
