Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.
The Tuesday evening league is for players 14 and older.
Unified Basketball: Athletes and partners (volunteers) play each Tuesday, 7:00-8:30 pm. Teams play in tournaments scheduled throughout the season. (break for holidays Dec 23-Jan 2

Tournament Site Locations: Loudoun County HS, Riverside, Tuscarora, and Cactoctin


Event Times: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm. Tournament end time is subject to change depending on how many teams compete.



Event Volunteers are needed for this competition in the following roles: registration, time/scorekeepers, and referees. Players receive more assistance and guidance as they learn new skills. Young players of all ability levels are welcome. Ideal for middle and high school students.

Unified Walking Club joins people with and without intellectual disabilities for a fun and fitness.

All members of the Special Olympics community (coaches, partners, family members, volunteer groups and caregivers) are welcome to join! This activity is lead by Coaches Matt and Jill Wheeler and will meet each Monday evening 6:30-7:30 pm.
